Allo, Darlin'

The Polaroid Song, inspirada por la decisión de Polaroid de parar la fabricación de la famosa película, es el nuevo single y el adelanto del primer álbum de Allo, Darlin', banda liderada por la australiana asentada en Londres Elizabeth Morris. El álbum se publicará el próximo mes de febrero en el sello británico Fortuna Pop.

Electro pop desde Rusia con Xuman. Stornoway

Aunque con nombre de isla escocesa, Stornoway es un grupo original de la ciudad de Oxford. Acaban de publicar Unfaithfully, su segundo single, pero hoy destacamos Zorbing, el primero, una de las grandes canciones que nos ha dado 2009.

Edward Sharpe & TMZ. Kisses Over Babylon

Después de Desert Song, llega Kisses Over Babylon, el segundo de la serie de 12 vídeos o cortometrajes que bajo el nombre de Salvo! van a realizar Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros. Actores conocidos como David Strathairn o Dermont Mulroney colaboran en esta entrega. Quizá no es el mejor tema de su fantástico álbum Up From Below pero el resultado visual es espectacular.

Lawrence Arabia

Chant Darling es el título del segundo álbum del neozelandés Lawrence Arabia (James Milne). El disco ha sido grabado en Estocolmo, Londres, Auckland y Wellington. Establecido en los últimos tiempos en la capital británica, el toque british está presente en The Beautiful Young Crew, el primer single del disco.

Le Sport. Nueva canción

Si hace tres años anunciábamos aquí la disolución del dúo sueco Le Sport, hoy hay que comentar una buena noticia, su enigmático regreso a través de un nuevo tema llamado Love In Stereo que ha sido sorpresivamente colgado en su página web. La canción, de tono más introspectivo que sus anteriores trabajos, viene acompañada por un vídeo montaje realizado con fotografías.
