Antes de ser un artista reconocido internacionalmente, José González formaba parte junto a Elias Araya y Tobias Winterkorn del trío Junip, formación con la que el músico sueco de origen argentino ha venido colaborando intermitentemente desde finales de los años 90. Ahora los tres componentes han decidido concentrarse exclusivamente en la banda y este año se editara un nuevo trabajo que será apoyado por una extensa gira. Rope and Summit es la canción que titula el disco, con un sonido que, aunque amplificado y más eléctrico, resultará familiar a los seguidores de González.

Otro misterioso dúo de músicos y remezcladores. Los británicos Monarchy mantienen sus identidades en secreto mientras se desatan todo tipo de especulaciones sobre quién está detrás de la formación (Paul Epworth, Starsmith, Milke o miembros de Hot Chip). Hasta que se despeje la incógnita, probablemente en verano cuando aparezca su álbum, disfrutemos de sus remezclas y de singles como The Phoenix Alive.
